- This is a listed company established in 1991. The company was initially manufacturing safety gloves. It was acquired by us in 2016, to start a new product in the medical devices market.
- There are no sales post our acquisition since we discontinued the production of existing safety gloves to enter into innovative market of medical devices.
- Our new product is the auto-retractable safety syringe, which is patented by an Australian company. We have made an agreement to have 75% holding with this Australian firm.
- This product would help in avoiding needlestick injuries (NSI) and ensures operational safety. The pilot batch of these products are being tested by a few hospitals in UAE, Africa, Europe and India.
- Our pilot batch is produced by a contract manufacturer in Malaysia using manufacturing equipment provided by us. We are looking to acquire this manufacturing facility and upgrade the infrastructure.
- We are also looking to setup a global manufacturing unit in India for exporting the same to different countries. We have ascertained healthy demand for this device in Global healthcare space which emphasizes on operational safety.
