How to get DhobiLite (Elite Dhobilite Laundry Pvt Ltd) Franchise?

Stage 1 (Application and Acknowledgement)

1) DhobiLite receives a franchise request from you (you can reach out to us through SMERGERS.

2) You shall receive an acknowledgment phone call from DhobiLite representative who shall guide you through the next steps.

Stage 2 (Dive into the world of garment cleaning)

3) You shall receive an acknowledgment email with a lot of reading and viewing material. Our intent here is to get everyone up to a level where you start to think and arrive at a conclusion by yourself as to what differentiates DhobiLite from other players in the industry.

4) After a series of monologues, you might be interested in a meaningful dialogue with a company representative to clarify your doubts or answer any follow-up questions you might have. At this point, you can have either a face-to-face meeting or virtual meeting with the company representative to answer all your questions.

Stage 3 (Preferences and suggestions)

5) At this point, you might be ready to decide what should be your preferred area of operation and we can help you out in zeroing in at the best possible location for your franchise.

6) Based on your preferred location DhobiLite shall conduct market research to provide you with the exact data of the location along with a rough estimation of the amount of business you can expect at your location. This forms the basis of the choice of machinery and other important items required for the day-to-day operations.

Stage 4.

7) We are at the stage of formalizing the partnership between the company and you, therefore, before proceeding ahead the company shall issue a "Letter of Intent" to the franchise. This letter shall be issued post the receipt of a token amount from the franchise (this token amount is adjusted against the final franchise fee amount).

8) A face to face meeting with the founders in order to align Dhobilite's visions with the franchisee's requirements so that we can grow together.

Stage 5 (Exploration & Final agreement)

9) The company shall assist you to find a retail outlet which is best suited for business.

10) Post the retail outlet finalization, the company and the franchisee shall sign the franchise agreement to formalize the partnership.

Stage 6 (Pre-Launch)

11) Based on the DhobiLite approved theme, a layout plan of the retail outlet shall be shared with you.

12) Also, at this stage, we shall start the process of finalizing the machines required and initiate the booking process. This is very important because we need a lead time of 2-3 weeks to get the machines delivered.

13) Once the machines are finalized and booked the franchise can start the work on fit-outs at the retail outlet. The point to note here is that franchisee needs to be fully ready with the infrastructure by the time the machines are delivered.

14) Training and hiring shall continue as a parallel activity while infrastructure and machine setup is being put up in place. For training activity, we have a compilation of reading material and virtual sessions pertaining to DhobiLite software and its SOP. We shall share all the material with you so that you can train your staff.

15) Technology integration shall also start at this point and this includes mapping the service areas to the franchise, adding users into the system, configuring apps as per franchise location, etc.

Stage 7 (Dry-run and launch)

16) Once everything is in place, company shall facilitate a dry-run at the franchise premises to get a feel of the actual process and also to gauge the level of preparedness.

17) After ironing out the glitches found in the dry-run report, it is time to launch.

What are some of the things we look for in a Franchisee?

- A franchisee partner is expected to perform functions in the following order:

1. Pick up the articles from the customer’s location and enter all the article's details into the company’s software.

2. Create an invoice of the articles that were picked up from the customer premises and enter it into the software.

3. Tag all the articles according to the guidelines provided by the company.

4. Scan all the articles for any damage and in case any damage / fault is found prior to processing the articles, you must inform the customer using company’s software.

5. Process all the garments as per the customer's requirements and company guidelines.

6. Deliver the articles to the respective customer.

7. Ensure full payment at the time of delivery for the service rendered and update the company’s software accordingly.

- All customers within the allocated region/location/area/city shall be mapped to the franchisee partner and in case the franchisee partner is not able to fulfill the customer's requirements then the service radius shall be reduced.

- Resources for the smooth running of the business operations shall be arranged and managed by the franchisee partner.

- Franchisee partner should maintain inventory for all the materials which are required for the day-to-day operations. Franchisee partner should inform the company at least 15 days in advance before the stock for any company provided merchandise/material runs out.

- Customer leads will be generated by Dhobilite through our website, application and dedicated marketing strategy. It is the franchise partner's responsibility to process these leads and generate revenue.

- Over 80 - 90 percent of the leads are generated through our mobile application hence customer acquisition costs are very low. As a result, we expect high sales and EBITDA margin from our partners. Alternatively, the partner may receive live customers that they need to entertain.
